How The PACS Certificate Evolved

• Current Version (Version 12): Launched on 20 September 2025, in the current E-Manual (downloadable PDF) format. The course has undergone regular updates every 6 months since 2019 to ensure relevance and quality.

• Origin: The initial classroom training version was developed for EuromoneyLearning in 2019 and was accredited by IBF-STS at that time.

• Evolution: The course has transformed significantly—moving from PowerPoint-based video delivery to an advanced, self-paced E-Manual format, designed to provide greater flexibility and depth for advanced learners (learners are typically either ACAMS or ICA Certified), as well as comprehensive testing.

• Certificate Issuance: The certificate is issued by AML-TRAI™ which is Dr. Rohan Bedi's trademark service. There is no company or firm involved. Since most of the Learners already have other advanced general certifications, PACS is designed to be a "top-up" specialised course to hone one's AML/CFT regulatory compliance skills in the Private Banking & Wealth Management space.

• Accreditation Status: Given the pattern of ongoing course updates, the slow speed/repeat process for substantial enhancements, the expenses involved, the cash flow impact of delayed payments, administration impacts, and the fact that Learners are typically already professionally certified (e.g. ACAMS/ICA), there are no current plans to seek IBF-STS reaccreditation. This allows for more competitive pricing. Nonetheless, IBF-FTS funding applications can still be submitted by Financial Institutions in their own name.
